Why is there a minimum equine visit fee?
Equine care involves travel, time allocation, and full responsibility for your horse’s welfare. Even short visits require a reserved time slot and professional oversight, so all equine services are charged at a minimum visit rate covering up to 30 minutes.

What if the visit only takes 10–15 minutes?
Short welfare checks are welcome and are charged at the standard minimum visit rate. This ensures travel time, fuel, and responsibility are fairly accounted for.

Do you charge per 15 minutes for equine visits?
No. Equine services are not charged in 15-minute intervals. Pricing is based on minimum visit times and hourly rates for extended care, which reflects the variable nature of equine work.

Does the visit fee include travel?
Yes, travel within the local service area is included. Extended travel may incur an additional fee, which will always be discussed in advance.

What happens if a visit takes longer than expected?
If additional time is required beyond the agreed visit length, this may be charged at the hourly rate. You will never be charged without prior discussion unless it is a welfare or safety issue.
